How to Participate

Who can participate

  • Anyone can vote for a pet, however, only registered members can be contestants in competitions.

How to be a contestant

  • Registered members can upload a photo into the competition from their profile pages.
  • Contestants can then be voted for by the petplaypals.com community and by non members.
  • Voting will be allowed for a specific period of time known as the "Regular Season."
  • At the conclusion of the regular season, the top 32 contestants, with the highest vote totals will enter a playoff.
  • Playoff contestants will be seeded into two divisions, with advantages going to the highest seeded contestants.
  • Half the contestants will be eliminated in each round of the playoffs until the cutest pet is left standing.

Tips

  • Its never too late to enter the tournament prior to the playoffs. Cute pets generally make the playoffs.
  • Anonymous users or non-members are allowed to vote, get everybody you know (and everybody they know) to come vote for your pet. Only 1 vote per day from a computer is allowed.
  • Once in the playoffs, votes are all that counts in the end - every pet stands a chance.
  • You are allowed one vote for every contestant.You are allowed to vote for your pet.

Conditions

All participating members are asked to abide by the terms and conditions of the site, as well as those of each specific contest. Any abuse or violations of the mentioned policies may result in disqualification from the competition, loss of points or user termination and ban from using the site.
