About Us

Petplaypals.com was designed for pets and pet owners, by a group of pet lovers and animal shelter volunteers. It’s a place where pet owners and pet lovers come to socialize, learn about their pets, understand their pets, and share their pictures, tips, stories and other content. It is also a place where pet shelters and rescues can post their pets available for adoption and where potential pet owners can find pets to adopt. Membership to the site is free and will always be free.

Our Plans to Help Animals in Need

We have a strong commitment to giving back to the community. Not only to our online community but also to the communities of our site members. We do so by supporting local Pet Shelters and Rescues. For every new member that registers on our site, we will donate a specified dollar amount to a Animal Shelter or Animal Rescue of the registered member's choice. Our members participate in a points system that allows them to gain points and move up levels or ranks. All our members earn points for their activities and participation in the online community, these points are then converted into monetary value and donated to the member's Supported Shelter. The Pet Community

The PetPlayPals team is committed to socializing pets and pet owners, doing so with the added benefit of supporting animals in need. We allow for and encourage social interactions amongst our community members in a safe and secure environment. Members socialize with other members by joining or creating pet clubs, asking and answering questions, participating in pet related contests, uploading and sharing pictures and photo albums and by communicating through the site messenger system. There are numerous other applications built into our system to further foster a social environment within the pet community.

Who is allowed to use PetPlayPals?

All animal shelters and rescue organizations, pet owners, pet lovers or individuals working in a pet related business is encouraged to use the PetPlayPals.com site. All members must however be at least 13 years old in order to join. Individuals younger than 13 years old can create an account with the approval of an adult. A valid email address is the only requirement to join. A valid email address can be obtained from one of various major email service providers.
